There has been a question regarding whether or not the GSP Rushfit program by Georges St-Pierre is just for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) enthusiasts. And while it is true that St-Pierre and his co-creator and trainer Erik Owings does relate some of the program to fighting, the program stands on it's own without the need for any interest or knowledge of MMA.
We've compiled some quotes from others to give you a broader perspective:
"Does GSP’s training work? The Reigning welterweight champion has proved it time and again. If you want to be a champion you need to train like one. St-Pierre is one of the '25 Fittest Men in the World'."
- Men's Fitness
"This is a legitimate training regimen put together by an elite level athlete and his longtime trainer. RushFit is primarily designed to build overall fitness, conditioning, endurance, strength and power. Not everyone can afford their own strength and conditioning coach and this is for those people."
- Jack Bratcher for www.Prommanow.com
"Train beside GSP and find out what intensity really means. This strength conditioning video gives you first hand access to the secret training approach of a champion. In 45 minutes a day, you will perform, feel and look better than ever!"
– Amazon.com Editorial Review
"The workouts offer a comprehensive approach to MC [metabolic conditioning] training that targets a variety of the health-related parameters of fitness (endurance, strength, flexibility and cardio) and the skill-related parameters of fitness (power, agility, balance, coordination and quickness)."
